◆ Mechanical Engineering Workshop Introduction example of syllabus
  (6 times course)

1st : Mechanical engineering from the viewpoint of car specifications,
2nd : Energy used in daily life,
 3rd : Usage of water,
4th : Mechanical engineering to support dinner,
5th : Mechanical engineering in sports,
6th : Techniques learned from living things (biomimetics)

◆ Robot seminar

 • Past, present, and future of robot technology (industrial robots, self-driving cars, etc.)
 • To design and manufacture robots
(relationship between basic concepts and essential basic engineering)
 • Motion of a robot (differential equation that describes the movement)
 • Kinematics of robot components (parts) (link mechanism, actuator)
 • Electrical engineering to move the robot (motor, battery)
 • Estimation of the accuracy of movement (measurement and sensors)
 • Control of a robot motion (control engineering)
 • Intelligent robots (AI technology)
 • Optimization problems (traveling salesman problem, etc.)
 • Deformation of a robot (material mechanics (stress and strain, beam bending and bending, rod twisting))
 • Guarantee of the strength of the robot (maximum allowable stress)
 • Vibratrion of a robot  (mechanical mechanics (free vibration))
 • Technology to improve the ride quality of robots (mechanical mechanics (forced vibration))
 • Network for robots active in teams

◆ Mathematics seminar, engineering seminar (6 times for each theme)

 • Differential / Integral
 • Applied linear algebra
 • Information literacy
 • Fluid engineering (drag reduction, wind power generation, etc.)
 • Thermodynamics (energy problem)
 • Strength of materials (beam and membrane shape and their strength)

◆ Lecture example (about 2 hours)

 • Functional design by biomimetics
 • Practice method based on physics that becomes stronger in sports
 • To analize sports physically (search for a winning method)
 • Solving method of aerodynamic noise problem
 • To secure future energy

◆ Emergency response

 • A product complaint came from a user
 • A defect on the production line
 • Unexpected defective products
 • Consultation on issues that need to be addressed immediately
 • 日Necessity to deal with things that happen suddenly
